Do customers complain about AdvoCare? You bet they do!
With nearly 1 billion in annual sales and millions of customers throughout the U.S. there are bound to be some customers with Advocare complaints or who are not satisfied with the company or the products.
However, as a product user and AdvoCare Independent Distributor for six years the number of AdvoCare complaints are relatively few. Here is what we know, if taken as directed AdvoCare products are safe and effective. I have coached thousands of customers using AdvoCare products and the few complaints that I have heard are most often a result of not taking the products as directed (this is from the customers admission), client’s having unrealistic expectations and sometimes, ‘it’s just not for them’.
AdvoCare products are not a ‘quick-fix” or a nutrition fad, they are designed to be part of a healthy lifestyle and to provide access to high quality nutrition or fill nutritional gaps. In combination with a healthy diet and exercise they are very effective. When taken as directed the products will deliver the results you are looking for or AdvoCare will make it right!
Stellar service is non-negotiable! We care about every customer and appreciate their honesty in sharing the truth of their experience.
We guarantee that the products are safe because they are tested throughout the manufacturing process.
FDA regulates the safety, manufacturing and labeling of dietary supplements, while FTC has primary responsibility for regulating the advertising of these products. Meeting USP criteria for disintegration is a part of the standard manufacturing requirements and procedures for AdvoCare products. In addition, Advocare complies with Good Manufacturing Practices. These regulations are intended to ensure that dietary supplements are produced in a quality manner, do not contain contaminants or impurities, and that they are accurately labeled. In order for a manufacturer to fully comply with these regulations, systems must be in place to establish quality control specifications and procedures, manufacturing and storage control, testing of finished products and management of consumer complaints. AdvoCare is ahead of most supplement companies in meeting these standards.
We believe in high quality, safe and reliable products because it is the right thing to do.
Although NO REGULATORY entity requries testing of the final product; Advocare volunteers to do that testing and products are tested by Informed Choice. Informed Choice is the gold standard for 3rd party supplement testing for safety and efficacy in the world.

Advocare Scam? I have been asked a number of times if AdvoCare is a “scam” and as a 25 year senior business executive (and someone who was skeptical) I want to share the facts and let you decide for yourself.
So what is a scam and does AdvoCare qualify a scam company?
A scam is a term used to describe any fraudulent business or scheme that takes money or other goods from an unsuspecting person. With the world becoming more connected thanks to the Internet, online scams have increased, and it’s often up to you to help stay cautious with people on the Internet. There are countless examples in the news every day about scams targeting unsuspecting people. Usually, scams pop up quickly take advantage of the targeted people and disappear quickly because the scammers are either caught and prosecuted or they evade law enforcement and are off to their next illegal endeavor.
Let’s take a look, is Advocare a scam?
First, AdvoCare is a direct sales company governed by the Federal Trade Commission and has been in business for over twenty years. AdvoCare offers over seventy products in its four product lines, and has one of the most prestigious Scientific and Medical Advisory Boards in the industry. There are over 600,000 active distributors in AdvoCare most of whom decided to become distributors simply for a product discount. Any distributor (discount member) can resign at any time without penalty. To me this proves a long term business with a strong foundation, not like the definition of a scam which can pop up quickly take advantage of the targeted people and disappear quickly.
Second, AdvoCare has several hundred professional endorsers. Advocare endorsers are given a product allowance. They have never been paid cash to say they use the products. These professionals can afford to use any product on the market but they choose to use AdvoCare exclusively because of the safety and effectiveness of the products. AdvoCare has professional relationships with Major League Soccer, NASCAR, and college football. These professionals and sports franchises won’t risk their reputations by being involved with any company that wasn’t highly regarded and respected in the sports industry. So, I see no scam here, Advocare endorsers really do use Advocare products.
Third, there is no mandatory auto ship, no monthly quotas, and minimum requirements to buy each month. These practices have never been part of AdvoCare. The founder believed that if the products were safe and effective people would be eager to buy the products. Twenty plus years of growth is evidence of the wisdom of the founder, Charlie Ragus. Above I defined a scam as fraudulent business or scheme that takes money or other goods from an unsuspecting person. I do not see this happening with Advocare.
Fourth, some people I talk with don’t understand the Direct Sales business model and initiailly think because it is ‘Direct Sales’ that it is a scam. Not true. Yes, there are direct sellers who are scammers BUT there are also scammers who work in traditional businesses. With scammers it is a ‘heart’ problem not the ‘type of business model’ that creates the scam. AdvoCare distributors do not earn compensation for recruiting new Distributors. Compensation is based on product sales. There is no guarantee of success or short cut to success. As a direct seller we only earn compensation and promotions based on our results. In the traditional business model I personally experienced people being promoted based on their relationships not necessarly their results. So based on my experience with Advocare, I do not see a scam.
Finally, AdvoCare offers a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Scams are illegal and do not offer guarantees.
I was highly skeptical when I looked into AdvoCare. However, my personal results with AdvoCare products made me a believer. We joined AdvoCare as distributors simply to get a discount on the products, having been loyal product users for over six years we would never consider using any other brand. We share AdvoCare products with friends and family because we want them to look, feel and perform as well as we do. We’ve helped hundreds of others get results with the products and save money by becoming AdvoCare distributors themselves. We have even helped some earn additional income. It took a lifetime to build our reputation. We would never choose to associate with any company that was out to scam anyone.
It is obvious what I believe about AdvoCare but it’s not about me, it’s about you. I have shared all of the facts that led me to my conclusion. Now you get to decide! Contact me if you have more questions.
If You Buy AdvoCare on Amazon
If you want to buy Advocare Spark, or the 24 Day Challenge, or AdvoGreens why isn’t it best to just click on Amazon and order your products there? Why is ordering from these (third party) sites not really in your best interest or may actually be harmful?
First, AdvoCare prohibits its authorized distributors from selling on sites like Amazon and eBay because it violates the distributorship agreement that each distributor signs when they become an authorized distributor.
When you purchase your AdvoCare 24 Day Challenge, or Spark, or Catalyst or other AdvoCare products you are not purchasing from AdvoCare but a third party. If it’s cheaper isn’t that better for me? Not if you have a problem, or want to return the product or have questions about how to get the best results. All AdvoCare products come with a coach, if you choose to use them but that is completely up to you. In addition, all AdvoCare products come with a 100% money back guarantee unless you buy them from a third party site like Amazon. If you order from a third party reseller you are not really buying from the company (Advocare) but by some third party. AdvoCare has no way of knowing how the product was treated, or may have been tampered with once it got into the hands of the third party. Have they adulterated it, repackaged it or mishandled it in any way? Why take the risk? After all you are going to consume the products yourself or give them to someone that you love. Is it really worth you’re not knowing for sure? When you buy from an authorized distributor your products are shipped via FedEx directly from the AdvoCare warehouse to you. AdvoCare stands 100% behind the quality and your satisfaction with the products.
Secondly, one of the reasons that so many professional athletes, Olympians, college and parents of high school athletes trust AdvoCare is because of the Informed Choice testing program that checks for banned substances as well as contaminants that may have been introduced into the product during the manufacturing process.
In short AdvoCare products are safe and effective. However, if you purchase from a third party there is no way of knowing that the products have not been contaminated by the third party before they came to you. Is it worth the risk?
Thirdly, the discounts offered on Amazon and eBay are not as generous as getting your own discount directly from AdvoCare.
The Amazon or eBay discount may go away, but if you have your own Advocare discount it’s yours for life! AdvoCare has a discount program much like Sam’s Club or Costco. For $59 dollars you receive $45.00 of samples and an immediate discount of 20%. Discounts range from 20% to 40% and once you get to a discount level you never move back to a lower discount, there are no minimums, monthly quotas or hidden fees. The annual renewal is $50.00. Third party sellers do not want you to know that you can get your own discount and that your discount level is not determined by what they choose to offer you but, what works best for you. When you have your own Advocare discount you can use it as much or as little as you want and share it with anyone that you want. The choice is completely up to you.
Lastly, If you get your own AdvoCare discount you can choose to earn a little extra income simply by sharing AdvoCare products with others.
You don’t have to share it you don’t want but if you love the products and want to tell others about them AdvoCare will pay you a commission equal to your discount level. You tell others about great movies, or songs or games or books…the only problem is that you don’t earn income for your recommendation. But with AdvoCare if you care and if you share you earn. Easy peasey!
To re-cap when Advocare products are purchased from a third party reseller:
We do not know how the products have been stored.
We do not know if the products have been tampered with.
There is no guarantee that you will receive a ‘full’ box.
There is no personal coaching.
There is no return policy.
There is no 100% satisfaction guarantee policy.
The Amazon or eBay discount may go away.
There is no way for you to have your own Advocare discount.
You are purchasing from someone who is doing business illegally.
Amazon. eBay. Can I sell advocare on amazon or eBay?
Advocare is an incredible culture and we have learned so much since we started using products six years ago. We’ve coached hundreds of people to product success and have helped others earn income.
